Inspired by the Coast
The stone comes before the drawing
We do not design a ring and then go looking for something to put in it. A stone is chosen in person, for its colour, and the piece is drawn around what that particular one does in the light.
It is slower, and it is the reason no two come out quite identical.
Take everything else out and the blue is still doing the work
Aquamarine, tanzanite, tourmaline. The blues and the blue-greens are what we reach for most, and more often than not they are southern African in origin.
This frame has the colour taken out of everything except the stones. What is left is the part we actually choose for.
Made to be layered, lent and worn every day
Nothing here is designed for a safe. Most of the silver is a palladium alloy that keeps its colour without a plated finish, so it can be worn into the sea and not thought about afterwards.
The Company We Keep
The creatures we live alongside — a starfish left by the tide at Robberg, a whale wintering in the bay, an elephant in the forest behind us.

Each piece is thoughtfully designed in South Africa, inspired by the natural rhythms of the coast. We believe in slow living, mindful creation, and jewellery that tells a story.
Our Story
One Workshop, One Bay
Everything with our name on it is made in South Africa, in a single workshop. The drawing, the casting, the setting and the last polish happen within a few metres of each other. It is the only arrangement we have found that lets you fix a thing on the day you notice it.
Not a men's line and a women's line
We make one collection and let people take what they want out of it. The same signet, the same chain, the same stones — sized, not re-gendered.
One stud, worn for years
Most people start at the ear and stop there. A single stud is the piece that goes in and never comes out again, so it has to get through showers, gyms, sleep and sea water without asking anything of you.
A drop should move when you do
The stone goes at the top, where the light reaches it first. The pearl goes at the bottom, where its weight is what makes the earring swing instead of sit.
With and Without Colour
A design that only works in colour is a design leaning on its stone.
